Today is the start of a new beginning, for I have started a blog! I have never done anything like this before. When choosing my blog name I decided to keep it simple, or as simple as my name can be, and used my last name. My blogger url, however, I decided should have some sort of effort put towards it. I chose "simplyeducationbnm" because I wanted a name that I could potentially continue to use if I choose to keep up the blog after the class. I chose to use "simply" because I am a person who thoroughly enjoys when things are made easier.
My experience creating the blog was not too difficult. I only say this because I was lead step by step by a person. If I had to do it myself following the directions, I would have most likely had a few mishaps and wrong turns. I think the hardest part to create on my own would have been the image of myself.
My avatar is basically me. I tried to make it as close to my image as possible. I gave her the crazy face because that reflects my personality. I am a very bubbly, zany, and outgoing person. I want my blog to emote exactly that. This is mine, and I want every aspect of it to reflect me!
I love your avatar, it reminds me more of an 80s themed Maultbay, but it is still 100% you. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat as you. I am in a new class and the professor tells me I have to make a Blog. So I said Here I Go. And I am learning as I go.
ReplyDeleteI like how you went with a URL that can still be used in the future if you decide to use this blog later on. And, I agree with you, making the blog was made easy when were walked through it step by step. But if there was no one guiding us, I think it would have been a different story for sure.

ReplyDeleteI too, am new at blogging although I do find it very effective and it was very easy to create and creating the avatar was easy as well. I can see how students would enjoy taking these steps to help them become knowledgable in technology and how it really can make life easier. Blogging is a easy way for students to get access to homework assignments, or missed work as well as communicating with other classmates and the teachers. Parents could easily log on and see what the announcenments were taking place along with assignments and communicating with the teacher. Blogging is great and easy to use.
